10 Books I’d Like for Christmas

It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday! (I realize today is not Tuesday. Grades were due last night. But now I’m freeeee.) Some of these will be repeats from my other list from August, but that just means that I want them even more because I still don’t have them.

These week’s topic:  Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Leaving Under My Tree

Attack on Titan (vol. 7+) // Hajime Isayama
I own the first six volumes of this (I think they’re up to 19?) and have only read the first three, but I really want to read more, especially before the new season comes out.

The Wrath & the Dawn and The Rose & the Dagger // Renée Ahdieh
These covers are to die for, so I must have them.

Shirley Jackson: Novels and Stories // Shirley Jackson
Because I really appreciate Shirley Jackson and love The Lottery but haven’t read anything else by her? So this is long overdue.
Everything Leads to You // Nina LaCour
This was on my list in August. I still don’t know much about it, but I still love that cover. So much cover love.

The Female of the Species // Mindy McGinnis
This came out recently and I saw some good reviews for it so…yes. I’ll get over the yellow.
We are the Ants // Shaun David Hutchinson
This also came out recently, and the cover is pretty, and the blurb sounded intriguing, and I saw some pretty great reviews over it.

Alice and the Fly // James Rice
I’ve wanted this ever since Cait @ Paper Fury wrote her review over it, but then it took forever to come out in the U.S. and it’s finally here.
American Born Chinese // Gene Luen Yang
This was also on a previous list. But it’s a graphic novel so I really need a physical copy, and they’re hard to find! (Plus it’s by Gene Luen Yang who I have immense respect for because of the Avatar graphic novels.)

Harry Potter Illustrated Editions // J.K. Rowling, Jim Kay
I don’t really expect to get these because they’re a little expensive, but they’re so beautiful. Someday.

Illuminae and Gemina // Amie Kaufman, Jay Kristoff
Okayyyy, you guys have convinced me. I need to read these. And I want the physical copies so I can experience it. Because apparently it’s pretty cool.

Let me know what books you would like for Christmas, and if you’d recommend any of these!

The Harry Potter Illustrated books are amazing. We haven't bought the second one yet but need to ASAP.
