My Fall 2017 Haul and Subsequent Book-Buying Ban

Remember last year when I bought a ton of books and then went on a book-buying ban until Christmas? Well. It’s happened again.

I went a little crazy this fall with buying books. But there were a lot of new releases that I had to have, and a lot of good deals on ebooks and audiobooks. But now I think it’s fair to say that I have enough unread books in my collection to last me all next year, so I started a year-long book-buying ban on November 1. For the next year, I can only buy books if they’re $5 or under. No regrets, though. I’m super excited to be able to read these. (those crossed out have already been read!)

Also, which one of these should I read next?

That copy of Night Circus (a book that has sat on my shelf for literal YEARS, but that I really really really do mean to read) is GORGEOUS. As for what book you should read next, I can’t recommend The Hate U Give enough!! You’ll read it in no time, it’s super absorbing.

I am almost definitely going to have to go on a book-buying ban as well. My shelves are BURSTING, and my book buying habits have exceeded my actual reading speed by way too much lately. I’m basically waiting until those sweet, sweet Christmas gift cards come in, and then I’m done accumulating books for an entire calendar year. I’ve got to read and cull my shelves before they get out of control!!

I hope that The Night Circus is one of the books you get to next year! I’m going to try to read The Hate U Give before the year is out. I might read one more book ahead of it, but it’s very high on my priority list!
