5 boyfriend-material book characters.

I did a post like this back in 2015, so it’ll be a short list today. My 2015 list was specifically characters that made me swoon, whereas for this one, I focused more on characters that are good boyfriend material.

Today I’m linking up with The Broke and the Bookish for a Top Ten Tuesday!
This week’s theme: Top Ten Book Boyfriends/Girlfriends

5) Sean Kendrick // The Scorpio Races
Sean is not a people-person, so he might not work well for everyone. He likes horses more than people. He loves his horse Corr unconditionally. But all that means is that he chooses people carefully. If you’re lucky enough to find a way into his life, he will be utterly devoted. (ps this is starting to sound like an ad campaign)

4) Peter // Always and Forever, Lara Jean
Peter took awhile to grow on me. I honestly didn’t like him much in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. But his character grows a lot over the series, and by the time we get to the last book, he’s matured a lot. He’s kind of the epitome of charming.

3) Wallace // Eliza and Her Monsters
Wallace is just a big, lovable heap of adorableness. He’s funny and friendly, but shy and does not like speaking in public. He prefers writing to speaking, which you wouldn’t guess just by looking at him. He’s kind of a sheep in bear’s clothing, and it’s precious.

2) Marko // Saga
Marko is more like husband material. I know he’s not human and has ram horns and goat ears, but he’s gorgeous. But even better, he’s loving and kind-hearted. He was a fierce warrior, but has since taken a vow of nonviolence (even though he’s forced to break it every now and then to protect his family.) While we do see his flaws, he’s always trying to work through them and be the better person.

1) Park // Eleanor & Park
Park is just so cute. And part of what makes him cute is his unashamed, innocent love of Eleanor. He just loves her. He loves being around her, talking to her, sharing things with her. And maybe he can’t quite understand everything she’s going through, but he tries his best to be there for her through everything.

Park was so sweet. I don’t usually hope for sequels, but I totally do with this book. He deserves a happier ending.

  4. Ohh this is such a great list, I love it 🙂 Peter took a little while to grow on me as well, but I love him so much now! <3 I also loved Park so much, he was such an adorable character, always caring, always trying his best. I just wanted to hug him.
I have Eliza and Her Monsters on my TBR, knowing there is this adorable Wallace in it makes me even more impatient to get to it 🙂
