April 2017 Wrap-Up

– I got a new phone! I’ve been using the Amazon fire phone for the past four years and it basically became useless. It was an okay phone, but they didn’t sell a lot of them, so they completely stopped updating it. Most of my apps stopped working, and I didn’t have access to Google Play.
But now I have the OnePlus 3t and am loving it.

– I’m back on Instagram! New phone = working apps.  😀 Follow me @eseals18

– I got new glasses!

I had my previous glasses for about four years so it was definitely time for a change. This time around, I wanted to get away from round frames to contrast with my round face.

– Deacon turned 23! And I didn’t get any pictures because he was busy all week preparing for their design team competition.

– I failed at Camp NaNoWriMo. I only wrote 3,400 words. But I instead read a lot of books and exercised a bit, so I’m not too upset about it.

Barty Crouch, Jr. would have been a great actor. Seriously. I can’t believe that nobody even gave him a second glance as Moody. And he was actually a pretty good defense against the dark arts teacher. Although this seems counterproductive to me. He literally taught Harry how to fight the imperius curse, which later helped Harry fight against Voldemort.

– What does Elsa do in her castle? And does Anna talk to her at all growing up? I’m very confused. They really don’t give you a lot of information.

@dog_rates is the best thing on Twitter.

– Why did Leia and Han name their child Ben? (also Rey is totally related to Obi-Wan. This video, though making some pretty stupid points, also makes some really intriguing points and pretty much has me convinced.)

– I’m not a huge fan of Paramore’s new song but I’m glad they’re releasing new music.

– Why do eBooks cost more than paperbacks on Amazon? There is really no reason for this. And I don’t like it. I’ve been trying to buy more ebooks to keep my library under control, but prices are making that difficult.

rex report

Rex broke out of his collar at the park earlier this month so he could chase a squirrel. That pretty much sums him up this month.

  1. I can’t wait to read A Conjuring Of Light … it’s going to be so good! And I laughed when I saw your thoughts on Frozen … what *does* she do? And what does she eat?
