2017 Photo Scrapbook

Getting a new camera for Christmas has made me start tidying up my Lightroom folders. I’m the type of person who holds on to all pictures in case something that I see as really bad ends up having potential later down the road. While going through and deleting unwanted photos, I found quite a few that I took in 2017 that I never posted on the blog. So I thought I’d do an end-of-the-year scrapbook post to throw them all in.  🙂 (if some of these look familiar it’s because you might have seen them on Instagram.)

I’m looking forward to taking and posting a lot more photos this year now that I finally have my camera. (Especially now that I’ve figured out how to turn off the automatic noise reduction and get my computer to recognize RAW files.)

I love your photos! Especially the ones of your cat haha. And also the first bird photo almost looks like a painting!

What kind of camera did you get? I just recently got Lightroom from my school, and I’ve been experimenting with it. It’s actually a lot of fun, and not as hard as I thought it would be! It’s also gotten me to take more photos so that I can play around with them.

Thanks, Valerie! Most of these were taken with my Canon Rebel T1i, which was a pretty old model. I just upgraded to a Canon 6d mark ii. I use Lightroom 6 to edit and I love it!

Thanks, Marie. I’ve had a lot of trial and error over the years. Still learning as I go. 🙂
I know, my mom’s cats are the cutest. I have to soak up snuggles when I visit…my husband is allergic. 🙁
